Vacation in the land of fantasy

Leave everyday life behind you for a weekend and immerse yourself in the world of fantastic stories, heroes and villains, swords and airships with dice, pen and paper!

On the TU Ilmenau campus, we await you with large tents on the con meadow right next to the bi-Club,
who will provide you with food and drink all weekend if you wish.

On Thursday evening there will be time to get to know each other at a cozy barbecue from 7 pm. From 10 a.m. on Friday, the whole weekend will be played in various rounds: Take a vacation from reality and join in!

Almost perfectly situated in the center of Germany, at the foot of the sinister Thuringian Forest, yet hardly haunted by bridge trolls and mountain goblins, blessed with a less invisible but all the more cozy university, lies Ilmenau.

Here, where the winters are long and leisurely, the summers sky-blue, and the people metropolitan relaxed, the tradition of fantastic storytelling has been cultivated for over 50 years. “Connecting Freaks since `72” proudly proclaims the book, RSP and tabletop club “Phantopia” and invites together with the bi student club, known for its sinister premises and hearty guest meals, to a small, familiar and cozy Pen & Paper convention.

With a lot of experience in organizing the “Phantopia-Con”, a small and very special LARP convention, we now venture into the terrain of Pen & Paper conventions – what could go wrong?

The campus of the TU Ilmenau offers all the necessary and pleasant facilities to spend a long weekend together at the foot of the Thuringian Forest, tell stories, roll the dice and let the soul dangle. For a cheap overnight stay there are sites for tents available and the bi-Club offers convention full board on request, so that casual players never have to leave the con area on the campus.
