About the artists
flora falls is an acoustic folk duo that formed after Brea Robertson (AUS) and Dominique Fricot (CAN) met by chance on a stage in Berlin’s songwriting scene in early 2019.
An hour into their first songwriting session, the song ‘Wake Up’ was born and they knew they were onto something special. The two met throughout the year and wrote a collection of acoustic folk songs.
After premiering their originals at Berlin songwriting center Kindl Stuben, the duo was approached by artist/producer Lucas Laufen (Embassy of Music) who was interested in recording their first studio work.
As Brea and Dom’s unique, powerful voices come together to sing about matters of the heart, their delicate harmonies, honest melodies and unprocessed minimal instruments take listeners* on a journey through memory, love and longing.
