Under the motto “Not to be forgotten”, the Landesjugendbigband Thüringen plays titles from all periods of jazz history. From big band classics to titles from German songwriting to jazz interpretations from the movie, everything is included. For the first time, the band rehearses and performs under the artistic direction of the experienced arranger, composer, trumpeter, lecturer and big band leader Tim Jäkel.

About the Landesjugendbigband:
” We are a youth big band where young jazz talents from Thuringia come together. We are between 16 and 26 years old and are artistically guided by changing teachers and conductors who prepare us for the upcoming concerts and tasks.” Thuringia State Music Council
