The aim and content of the work of AG Folksmund is the continuation of the “small series”,
a series of events of the small form, the origin of which is due to the cultural work of the Alte Försterei, at that time still under the authority of the Ilmenau city administration.
After the organization was sponsored by the organization “Kulturelle Coordination eV” for the next few years and then lost, it was necessary to look for alternative venues that were initially found in close cooperation with the city library, but now and then also with other rooms.

The “Kleine Reihe” is aimed primarily at the urban public, thus representing the association visibly in urban life, but has also attracted audiences from a radius of approx. 40 km in recent years. Because of this interest, there is a municipal cultural promotion, without which the events would not be possible.
