In his lecture on night photography, internationally award-winning photographer Stefan Liebermann takes us on a visual journey around the world – from the salt lakes of Bolivia to the northern lights of Norway and the desert landscapes of Namibia. Born in Thuringia, he is one of Germany’s most renowned astrophotographers and landscape photographers and is internationally renowned for his impressive images. Whether Stern, BBC or National Geographic – his work is recognized worldwide.
Learn how fascinating night shots are taken, the technology behind them – and how you too can capture the magic of the stars. Whether you are a beginner or a photo enthusiast – this lecture inspires, excites and opens your eyes to the beauty of our night sky.

About Stefan Liebermann

Stefan Liebermann is an internationally acclaimed landscape and night photographer and physicist. He discovered his passion for photography in 2015 and has been combining technical knowledge with creative expression ever since. As a Sony Europe Imaging Ambassador, he travels to the most remote corners of the world to capture spectacular moments in nature. His goal is to share the fascination for the night sky and to make the hidden beauty of our universe visible.
