Back to the Roots – Discover the world of analog photography

Fancy analog photography? Perfect – we’ll show you how it’s done!
On November 22, 2025, we’ll dive into the fascinating world of film photography together – from the basics to practice with a real camera and film.

Analog photography means slowing down, seeing more consciously and experimenting creatively.
Whether you are holding an analog camera for the first time or already have experience – we welcome everyone.

The workshop is not just about technology, but above all about working creatively with film: trying out, discovering, developing your own image ideas.
Together we will dive into the analog world – where every click counts and surprises are part of it.

Procedure

11:00-13:00 – Introduction & basic know-how

  • How an analog camera works

  • Exposure, ISO, aperture, time – the most important basics explained in an understandable way and directly applicable.

from 14:00 – Practical part / photo walk

  • We go out together and put what we have learned directly into practice.

  • Camera + film are provided, film processing is included.

  • Feel free to bring your own camera – or borrow one for afterwards.

We are the photo club of KuKo e.V. and in our well-equipped photo lab you will find everything your analog photo heart desires. Join our workshop on May 17/18, 2024 on the topic of “Basics of digital infrared photography” and gain insights into a world beyond natural light – from creating to developing infrared photos.
