Virtuoso, groove-oriented and captivating are just a few of the attributes that describe Trommer’s guitar playing. Deep enthusiasm and passion are reflected in his spirited, sparkling guitar art. The freedom of jazz, the energy of funk and the aesthetics of acoustic music inspire him to create a lively mixture of creativity and power. At his side is the virtuoso saxophonist Erik Robisch from Ilmenau.

Andi Geyer Quartet
It takes a certain amount of madness to drag 5-6 quintals in the form of a Hammond organ, Fender Rhodes piano and Leslie cabinet onto the stage, but the sound that comes out of this constellation definitely makes up for it the effort. Andi Geyer is one of the few who consistently pull this off because he wants exactly this unmistakable original sound for his music, a mixture of blues, funk and soul jazz, and not an electronic copy. Andi is best known from his house band “pro art”, with which he has been on the road for 40 years. In the quartet’s program, some numbers from the “pro-art” repertoire will also be found, tailored to this smaller line-up.
Andi Geyer – Hammond B3, Fender-Rhodes, vocal
Marco de Vries – guitar
Charles Sammons – bass
Jan Roth – drums
