The Hochschulfilmclub eV was founded in 1957 and has been the cinema on campus ever since.
Every Tuesday he presents a film in the Helmholtz lecture hall and thus mostly covers every genre. Whether comedy, drama or even horror, there is something for everyone.
In addition to the weekly screenings, the members also organize a short film night in the winter semester with selected short films and the summer cinema, an open-air cinema on the Ehrenberg, on two evenings in the summer semester.
There are many tasks to be taken over in the association, such as the design of the program booklet, the marketing of the events or the technical preparation of the film evenings.
