The Indian Culture Organization (ICO), a part of KuKo e.V., cordially invites you to an unforgettable Diwali celebration!
Immerse yourself in the colorful world of India and enjoy an evening full of spectacular dance performances, rousing live music, delicious Indian food, entertaining games and music that invites you to dance.

Program schedule:

  • Admission: from 18:00
  • Opening: 18:30 in the Audimax
  • Traditional ceremony for the Festival of Lights: from approx. 18:45 in the Audimax
  • Cultural program: from approx. 19:00 in the Audimax
  • Opening buffet: from approx. 20:00 in the foyer
  • Opening dance floor & music: from approx. 20:30 in the foyer
  • End: 23:00

Diwali 2024 is supported by LEG Thüringen, the TU Ilmenau, the we4you of the TU Ilmenau and the StuRa of the TU Ilmenau.

This year, the Diwali festival is part of India Day Thuringia, which is being held in cooperation with LEG Thüringen at TU Ilmenau. India Day offers an excellent platform for exchanging information on current trends as well as economic, scientific and research-related cooperation with India.

The event is free of charge. However, a fee of €4.00 will be charged for the buffet.

There are 2 types of tickets:

1. free admission ticket
This includes free admission to the event.

2. ticket for the buffet & free entry ticket
This ticket includes free admission to the event and the ticket for the buffet

Ticket for the buffet & free ticket: available until 05.11.2024

Tickets for the buffet are only available online and not on the evening itself!
