The Kuko e.V. in cooperation with the Protestant parish invites to the second summer concert of the Small Series on Thursday, August 31, at 7:30 p.m. in the Kreuzkirche at the Ilmenau cemetery.
The guests are “Die Tanzagenten”, this time in trio formation with Steffen Heinze – piano, vocals, Sylvia Weisheit-Heinze – vocals andUwe Rapp – bass.
DIE TANZAGENTEN, founded in 2011 as a union of well-known protagonists of the Central German live and studio scene, have dedicated themselves with skin and hair to that music, which goes directly into the legs. Even though the musicians come from the most diverse regions of Germany, many met in Weimar during their studies and have been connected not only musically but also as friends for many years.
In their (acoustic) concerts, they take their audience on a journey through a wide variety of genres, interpreting music from the last 100 years – evergreens, songs from musicals and films, as well as jazz rock and pop. The sacred space also plays an important role as a backdrop – here the full sound of their voices and the alternately sensitive or powerfully gripping piano and bass accompaniment unfold, so that one might think one is listening to a much larger band.
