Erfurt Baroque Ensemble
Works by Bach, Telemann, Erlebach and others

The Erfurt baroque ensemble has performed regularly in Thuringian churches and festival halls since 2009.

The Ilmenau recorder player Almut Freitag, the Erfurt musicians Gundula Mantu on the baroque violin and Frank Drechsel on the viola da gamba and baroque cello as well as Monica Ripamonti from Eisenach on the harpsichord
particularly fond of the Italian and Central German baroque music repertoire and delight the audience with lively, spirited virtuosity.


In the Ilmenau concert they present a program with virtuoso chamber music, including the great German baroque musicians JS Bach and G.Ph. Telemann, on historical instruments and in historically informed playing practice.
