The Hochschulfilmclub e.V. was founded in 1957 and has been the cinema on campus ever since.
Every Tuesday, it presents a film in the Helmholtz lecture hall, covering mostly every genre. Whether comedy, drama or even horror, there is something for everyone.
In addition to the weekly screenings, the members also organise a short film night in the winter semester with selected short films and the summer cinema, an open-air cinema on the Ehrenberg on two evenings in the summer semester.
There are many tasks to take on in the association, such as the design of the programme booklet, the marketing of the events or the technical preparation of the film evenings.
