The Kuko e.V. in cooperation with the Protestant parish invites to the fourth summer concert of the Small Series on Friday, September 30, at 7:30 p.m. in the Kreuzkirche at the Ilmenau cemetery.
Under the concert title “Neo-Pop-Jazz” the trio Katrin Kaufmann – vocals, Daniel Trommer – guitar and Erik Robisch – saxophone plays a music that could be described as virtuosic, groove-oriented and rousing.
Deep enthusiasm and passion are reflected in the spiritedly sparkling art of merging vocals, guitar and saxophone into a musical highlight. The freedom of jazz, the energy of funk and the aesthetics of acoustic music inspire the trio to create a lively melange of creativity and power. At the same time, the creative original compositions fit so impressively into the series of newly interpreted classics that one believes to have heard the songs all along.
