“Hopefully they play it the way it is!” A philosophical abyss yawns beneath this deep sigh of brave theater subscribers:

Yes, how is theater, how should it be? What do we expect from a good production? In this almost cabaret sequence of scenes by Lutz Hübner (“Mrs. Müller has to go!”), we take a humorous look behind the scenes of the (professional) theater business, actually several. Completely different characters collide and try to direct and portray the box scene from “Faust I” (Reclam edition p. 89 ff), with completely different results. There is e.g. B. to experience the pain threshold director, the diva, the theater veteran, the cut fanatic, the beginner, the trainee and many other prototypical figures that seem exaggerated but probably look all too familiar to insiders.

A feast for the laughing muscles and at the same time a psychogram of the performing arts, which have been brought forward since antiquity and which know how to surprise and inspire again and again. Or is she just an anachronism, the awkward great-aunt in the entertainment media family?
