Beyond all clichés, the Dirk Wasmund Trio offers handmade music in a wide range of styles, from original compositions to world, folk and jazz to opera melodies.
Dirk Wasmund has made a name for himself in a number of formations, including Folkländers Bierfiedler and the renowned Köstritzer Jazzband.
Romy Mäder and Markus Ziller-Schmidt studied at the Weimar Academy of Music and can look back on musical activities ranging from folk, swing and tango to classical music.
The diverse musical world of the Dirk Wasmund Trio inspires with wistful melancholy and ripping rhythms in pieces written by life.
